Articulated Gate Motors
Ideal for use on small wooden swing gates up to 2.4 m wide and 200kg in weight.
These gate motors are especially useful if fitting to deep pillars, also allowing opening in small spaces.
Swing Gate Openers
Swing gate openers or gate rams are most commonly used in gate automation,
these arms are very versatile and cost effective especially on tricky installations.
They are suitable for single or double swing gates up to a max 4.5m wide and a max 450kg weight.
Underground Gate Openers
One of the most popular gate openers on the market especially when used on ornate gates, the openers are hidden within the ground making the gates look more aesthetically pleasing. For gate leafs up to max 4.0m wide and max 600kg weight.
Sliding Gate Motors
These gate and openers are ideal if space within the driveway is limited,
and also if there is any uneven ground or driveway sloping which will restrict the opening
of normal swing gates. They also have an advantage of maximising the overall drive through width,
especially useful if the driveway is narrow. If you are looking for a wooden sliding gate to be automated,
it is recommended that a steel frame chassis be made and then clad with timber.
This allows the gate mechanism and motor to be fixed into the steel box section
(rather than just timber alone which can move or deteriorate) at the fixing points,
giving a longer life expectancy to the system.
